Finding the right people to lead your organization can be one of the most delicate and difficult decisions an organization must make.  You need to find the right blend of experience and leadership style that works well within the organization as it is now and as it changes.  The next several years will continue to test HIT departments as they work to incorporate changes to EHR technology and regulations, and implementation of a completely new code set in ICD-10.  Health care is moving fiercely into the future.  Facilities need HIT Directors and Project Managers who can lead change efforts as well as implement existing policy and identify compliance risks.
