The ICD-9 and CPT-4 apps can be found in the Apple iTunes Store and the Droid Marketplace.  They have been designed to mimick our Inpatient and Outpatient Online Courses created by Linda Kobayashi.  Users have access to the same chapter material, quizzes, and CEUs approved by both AHIMA and AAPC.  The best part about the apps is that all of the material is completely searchable, so that you can find information on a specific topic whether you are at work or doing late night research from home or a cafe. 

AHIMA and AAPC approved CEUs may be earned by taking the quizzes that accompany each chapter within the ICD-9 (inpatient) and CPT-4 (outpatient) Apps.  Just like our Online Courses, each quiz contains ten multiple choice questions that require the user to score at least 70% to earn CEUs.  An email will be sent upon the successful completion of each quiz stating the number of CEUs earned for that topic.  Please note that this is the same material as provided in the Inpatient and Outpatient Online Courses and in the body system chapters of the Inpatient and Outpatient books written by Linda Kobayashi.
